ON THE ISSUE OF COMPLETING THE KRASNODAR PARTY ARCHIVE. 1944.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the topic of restoring the work of the Krasnodar regional party archive under the Krasnodar regional committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) in 1944 and resuming the processes of its acquisition with materials from the party archives of district and city committees of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks). The issue of resuming the acquisition was complex, since during the temporary retreat of the Red Army under the onslaught of the German occupiers to Kuban in the summer of 1942, a number of Soviet institutions were forced to destroy documents from state and party archives. As well as documents that could be used by the Nazis for the purpose of informational and psychological confrontation between the USSR and Germany. It was necessary to collect information about the surviving archival materials for the period from June 1, 1941 to May 1944, what materials were missing, and where they might be located, if destroyed, then where. Accept them for safekeeping from primary party organizations. Evacuated in 1942, the regional party archive was re-evacuated to Krasnodar in January 1944. Since May 1944, the archive has already resumed its activities.
