Problem points in the activities of local history museums.

Abstract

The article considers the problems of modern local history museums of Krasnodar Territory. Their exposition activities, difficulties with the change of exposition are covered, as many of them do not have an adequate concept of the museum, oriented to the complex solution of the tasks facing the museum in modern conditions.

Many museums need additional space, many lack qualified personnel for effective cultural and educational activities.

In order to solve the existing problems, it is necessary to turn to "new local history" to find new interesting points in the history of the region, to tell the stories of life of ordinary citizens and villagers, using the initiative of citizens, involving them in the work of the museum.

State, sponsorship large-scale support of initiatives, research and cultural projects of local museums is necessarily needed to create conditions for the development of local cultural centers.
