11th TIME ZONE OF RUSSIA: UNION OF ARCHIVISTS AND HISTORIANS OF THE KAMCHATKA TERRITORY

Abstract

In this article, the research works of two authors are considered in parallel: archivist Anastasia Sergeevna Sesitskaya (Kamchatka in the goals of the Great Patriotic War in the documents of the State Archives of the Kamchatka Territory. 1941‑1945. Monograph. Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky: KamGU named after Vitus Bering, 2015) and the famous local historian Sergei Vitalievich Gavrilov (State fishing industry of Kamchatka (1924‑1959). Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky: New Book, 2021).

In the first of the monographs, questions of the theory of the problem are studied to a greater extent in relation to the issues of the Great Patriotic War of 1941‑1945 with an in-depth analysis of archival documents stored in the Kamchatka Regional Archives. In connection with the general theme, attention is paid to the components of solving the problem of creating conditions for ensuring the security of the state, region, family. One of these areas was work on the development and improvement of the fishing industry and its constituent structures.

The second book deals with the application of technologies for organizing labor and production with a goal. solving the problems of one of the priority directions of the national economy on the territory of the Kamchatka Peninsula. The author comprehensively discloses all areas of the fishing industry, which are reflected in detail in the archival funds in the chronological framework of the period under study from 1924 to 1959, where the time period associated with the 1941‑1945 war is considered an independent stage in the history of the state. The above set of documents for the development of the fishing industry over the years is of particular value in this work. The efforts of the authors are also aimed at demonstrating the union of archivists and researchers-historians in the implementation of the tasks of Russian historical science
