Modern reflection of the heritage of the exhibition «Firstborns of freedom».

Abstract

The article examines from different angles the contribution of Russian museologists to the actualization and preservation of the heritage of the Decembrists on the example of the exhibition "Firstborns of Freedom", organized by The National Pushkin Museum to the 150th anniversary of the Decembrist revolt. Investigated the materials of the Archive of The National Pushkin Museum, dedicated to the exhibition. Analyzes the contribution of the head of the exposition department, Tatyana Kuzminichna Sanasaryan, to the creation of the concept of the exhibition "Firstborns of Freedom" as a "portrait of a generation", as well as its main exposition principles. This publication pays considerable attention to the subsequent replenishment of the museum's collection with unique relics related to these events, in particular the gift of Elena Konstantinovna Reshko, the great-great-granddaughter of the Decembrist V.P. Ivashev. The significant scientific and practical potential for further research of museum expositions and collections dedicated to this topic, as well as domestic exhibition business, is noted.
